Introduction
Ball mill is a critical device for smashing after the materials are crushed. Ball mills are widely used in manufacturing industries of cement, silicate products, new construction materials, fireproofing materials, chemical industry, ore dressing of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and glass ceramics, etc for grounding of various ores and other grindable materials. Generally, overflow ball mills are suitable for high grinding fineness while grid ball mills are suitable for low grinding fineness. (Unfavorable impacts of over grinding on grading can be avoided)

Rod mill gets its name from the steel rod mounted in the tube which serves as the grinding body. Rod mills are generally wet overflow mills and can be used in primary open-circuit grinding.
